Dear Readers ,

It has been a couple of months since we build the layer for the biodynamic and no - gibe organic garden and I wanted to partake with you how the growth has compared between the two since planting up .

The bed began back in March thanks to JimJim and a neighbor putting it together and take it with compost and manure .

The start of the organic and biodynamic bed

The biodynamic side was spray with valerian ( preparation 507 ) a couple of days before seed then with the trump manure ( preparation 500 ) just minutes before sow .   All sowing of seeded player and transplanting across both seam follow the biodynamic calendar ; for instance , all salad leaf were sown on a leaf day in the calendar .   The same multifariousness and number of plants were transfer in both beds and similar numbers of source were sown in both beds also .

Both game ’ tender seedling were breed using polytunnels to protect them from the frosts over night which have helped to get the craw ahead by a couple of hebdomad .

The plants in the biodynamic plot attend a lot stout and stronger than the plants in the no - barb constitutive plot of ground and the rate of germination in the biodynamic plot is much high than the no - digging organic plot .

In the image below the biodynamic plot is on the left field and the no - shaft organic is on the rightfulness .

Some seeds germinated quicker in the no - dig constitutive game and the chilies are developing quicker in this secret plan too since it is in a lot of sun in comparison to the slightly shaded biodynamic secret plan .

Already we ’re glean salad leaf admit chard , spinach , kale and lettuce for salads at dinner time .
