Making a new garden

I am living in a new condo on the opposite side of a park in southeast Wisconsin .

We have a shoulder that the builder earmark to grow wild , and so we work on on ridding the hillside of invasive plant and put in aredbud(Cercis canadensis , Zones 5–9 ) and butterfly garden . It has been an awesome summer catch what comes to the birdbath andbird feeder . I never have it away how much appreciationwildlifehad for a water supply source . We even had a fox drink from the birdbath .

These planters are ride just off mycovered porchand are mostlyshade - loving plants .

The planter get early to mid - morning sun and then shadow . We have enjoyed the sizing of the coleus(Plectranthusscutellarioides , Zones 10–11 or as an annual ) and yellow impatiens(Impatienshybrid , Zones 10–11 or as an yearly ) .

Pink geraniums(Pelargoniumhybrid , Zones 9–10 or as an annual ) in a pig plantation owner .

The garden this year take in a leafage bug , a praying mantid , a control stick walker , hummingbird moths , andhummingbirds .

I ’ve been garden my whole grownup life and had the most enjoyment this yr creating an invitation and respite for the wild around me .
