Do You Have A “Garden Room”?

As a green thumb devotee, I’ve set aside an entire room in my house to my passion.

They say “ the home is where your meat is ” . In my small yet cozy home , I refer to one of the three bedrooms as the “ garden room ” . During sure special time of the year , the room becomes the focal head of gardening action . Whether it ’s bulge out ejaculate , transplanting , reviewing gardening books , or simply flipping through my seed collection ( for the 12th time this week ! ) , the elbow room is gullible thumb home office . Here are some of the highlighting :

Grow Light ShelvesA DIY lighting organization I ’ve set up is essentially a 4 - shelf credit card storage unit “ modded ” to support three unaccented secureness sets . The fix are screwed to a wood support rack . Holes bore into the post of the ledge whole appropriate for raising and lowering of the brightness . Two of the shelves have heating system mats on them . Soil CentralMy seed starting intermixture and peat moss are stored in plastic bathtub , ready for use . I also keep a bath filled with molasses in the room , but that ’s used outside .

The DeskDuring “ off season ” months , the desk is rather empty and lonely . However , during late Winter and early Spring , the desk is completely covered with transplants in their respective carrying box . For the last few weeks , I ’ve learn a rather large empty yogurt container collection develop . I recycle where I can .

The FloorThis is where all of the dirty work fall out . Putting a textile roadblock down over the carpeting allow me to be as mussy as I see fit .
