Blooms of the season

Johanna here from Aiken , South Carolina.(See a previous visit to her garden here.)Fall is my favorite season , and I specially love how my garden looks at this clip of the year . It seem more awake than ever . My shrubs , grass , decorative trees , Charles Hardin Holley , and Chrysanthemum morifolium seem to detonate with shape , texture , and coloration . I have been gardening for more than 40 years , but my Aiken garden of 13 - plus age is my darling . I started with a vast , pine - ladened empty ticket , and working within the confines of the infected placement , pine tree , and private road , I think it has turned out pretty well .

My osmanthus(Osmanthus fragransvar.aurantiacus , Zones 8–11 ) put on quite a show — three weeks of orange bloom with a wonderful fragrance .

My Meyer lemon tree(Citrus × meyeri , Zones 9–11 ) is bursting with fruit hold back to ripen .
