My name is Heidi Steffes , and I ’ve been garden on six acres in Waukesha , Wisconsin , for 38 years . While I have many gardening areas , today ’s picture are from our pocket billiards region that was added six years ago . My destination was to make the pond area a variety of sanctuary while also hiding ( or blending in ) the want fencing material around the pool . Our wintertime are long here in Wisconsin , so I made an effort to admit someconifersin the invention for off - time of year interestingness . This part of the thou brings us much joy in our very short summers , even when we are not in the pool . While there are mostlyshrubsand perennial in this area , I leave room in show areas forannualsto ensure some vividness for the whole summertime .
