Gardening in the city, with chickens!
My name is Suzanne . My husband and I live on in an 1854 brick cottage in business district Sandusky , Ohio . Even though we are in an urban circumstance , we have made a private peaceable garden for ourselves pure with a chicken coop . We recently put in a pea gravel terrace , where we can enjoy our good morning coffee or dinner party with friends . We have managed to incorporate the crybaby coop into our garden and made sure it ’s as pleasant to appear at as the garden itself . We have planted our garden with shade - loving perennials such as Hosta , ferns , Jack - in - the - pulpit , Solomon ’s seal , astilbe , foxglove , and portion of ivy . It ’s our niggling small-arm of heaven in a busy humanity .
A piece of paradise indeed ! I require to have dinner there .
Another beautiful seating area , with a live succulent transcription in the center of the table and the chicken chicken coop in the background . You would never love this garden is right in the downtown , and the chicken coop fits into the rest of the garden perfectly .
How favourable are these chickens that they have matching planters on either side of their front door , plus a hanging plant on the doorway itself ? This sturdy hencoop also ensures that the Gallus gallus can enjoy the unused air without getting gobbled up by a draw mortarboard or a hungry racoon .
Another sentiment of the garden along the Gallus gallus coop .
And one last view of this urban heaven , a thoroughgoing retreat for humans and fowls alike .
