Growing and preserving food from a small space

Today we ’re chitchat with Kimberly Butler ( to see more of her garden , check out her Instagram ) . Kimberly garden in gay Florida and make great usance of a community garden plot to grow lots of delicious food . If you wish well you had a garden but do n’t think you have the distance for it , Kimberly is great inspiration !

This shot is of thecommunity gardenplot before Kimberly take up garden on it . A mass of gage and not much else !

Just three months afterward , the plot is full of flourish broccoli andkale !

Beautiful heads of broccoli are ready to harvest .

The delicious variety of kale multifariously called lacinato , Tuscan , ordinosaur kale . Whatever you call it , the narrow , coarse-textured farewell are notably tender and pleasant-tasting , with less of a bitter flavor than other kale multifariousness .

An abundant harvesting of habaneros , gumbo , salvia , chime capsicum pepper plant , and jalapenos .

Mature cucumber and summertime squash made into quick pickles in reused salsa jolt .

A harvest of fragrant plenty and lemon grass . Kimberly says , “ I would say I ’m making Camellia sinensis , but I ’m going to make some smashing mojitos after employment today . ” sound like a much better idea than afternoon tea !
