In a Vase on Monday. A Walk on the Wild Side.
We have enjoyed watching the changing seasons whilst we have walk round our lanes , field and Wood during lockdown . In April we enjoy the harebell .
In May , the hayfield were spangled with shine white-livered buttercups . And the lanes were lined with the froth of cow parsley . And now we have ox -eye rostrum and poppy .
And in the hedgerow there are godforsaken blush wine and meeting house . So my vase today take its inspiration from our walk . I do n’t pick savage flower of course , but I did clean some barbaric oats from the verge . The foxgloves , ox -eye daises , poppy , honeysuckle , elder flowers and rosebush were from my own garden . The ox - eye daisy , Leucanthemum vulgareare fairly , but awfully invading and I am always sponge them out .

The foxglove put themselves in this corner . Behind them you may see the senior .

I do n’t have angry honeysuckle in the garden but this gorgeousLonicera periclymenun‘Scentsation ’ is a in particular fragrant substitute .

And instead of the raging originate I have used a lovely , unmarried rambling rose called ‘ Francis . E. Lester ’ It is deliciously fragrant too .

I bought my jugful when we break to the delightfully quirky Port Meirion . I wonder when we will ever be able to go there again .
But never mind we are prosperous to hold out in a pretty part of rural Suffolk .

Your post take me wish we could move to Suffolk ! My herbaceous plant garden used to feature a lush honeysuckle climbing a wall and rambling over the bench pergola . Alas , it had to be pull down for the household painter last crepuscle . Even the roots ! Now , against that rampart , I have planted summer veggie , instead — yellow summer mash to trail up one side of the spindle , cucumbers up the other side . But I shall miss honeysuckle ’s beloved fragrance .
What a beautiful walking , and the bouquet you created to think it is adorable . And thanks for portion out about Port Meirion , which I had never hear of before .
