So , it ’s no surprise that five years after its inception as a landscape design class project , Kilgore Garden is bloom as a hub for learn and construction community , thanks in part to a unexampled partnership between the Horticulture Club and NC State University ’s grounds gardening crew .

" I just wanted to help out and do a little bit of my part to help keep it gracious , " adds Norma Hernandez - Cruz , a third-year horticultural science John R. Major , who has visited the garden with her industrial plant designation year .
