well-chosen monday , GPODers ! Today ’s pic are from Joan Holland . She says,“Hi everyone ! My garden is located in western New York state just west of the metropolis of Rochester and about ten Admiralty mile in the south of Lake Ontario , in Zone 6 .
“ The daffodils grow in my back woodland garden , where my property slopes down to a large creek that flow past our house and eventually into the lake . I bed to force daffodils indoors over the foresighted wintertime , and then in the spring I institute them out in the forest where they blossom again after a couple of yr . Over more than 20 year , that ’s a tidy sum of daffodils !
“ The red and amber primrose were growing here when my husband and I run in , and they are bad as nail , and very bright and cheery . ”
So nice , Joan ! We ’re at the peak of daffodil here in Connecticut , and it ’s wonderful ! Be sure to send us photos of your garden after in the season , too .
