40 years gardening and still going strong
It is always a pleasure when we get to visit Wendy Quereau ’s garden ( see a previous posthere ) .
Here ’s another mathematical group of photos from my 40 years of ferment in my Wayne , Pennsylvania , garden . For the last few eld , my attempt has been to substitute shrubs for perennials in an sweat to cut upkeep while emphasizing class - round colouration and grain . As always , and for all of us gardeners , it ’s a work in progress .
Thank you for my much - enjoyed day-to-day fix of garden photos . I especially enjoy it now that I am stuck in my home with this virus mess . My garden is my refuge , and I am thankful for it !
Thank you and stick around well .

The bulb seat in my garage from tardy fall through winter to avoid freezing and being destroyed . Some year I plant them in the ground , and in others they appease in a slew , depending on my Department of Energy . Regardless , they give rise buds and bloom as presently as they are removed from the garage in belated May after all peril of frost has passed . In this photo , they were in a magnanimous pot and had already blossom copiously by the meter the hydrangea was in flower . I fertilize them every two calendar week during the maturate time of year to ensure electric-light bulb strength for the following year .
