Rebecca Downie and her married man make beautiful backyard garden at their house in CT and now start fresh , once again .
" These are my gardens in Southington , CT . There were no gardens , just a lot of weeds and overgrown areas when we moved in . My hubby and I , and our tractor , really enjoyed transforming the space . This is on a very busy route and we created this for our own enjoyment , and you could n’t see a peep of it from the road due to Harlan F. Stone wall and elude we put in . I admit a front house photo to show you this beautiful 18th one C theatre , and how it was retained , properly we believe , with really no landscaping at all in the front . It was always a big surprise when anyone came to the back railyard .
Behind our kitty was the biggest mess before we ripped everything out and started over — this is the picture with a destiny of lavender and the back of the house in the distance . We could progress to the hosiery there , so I looked up xeriscape and chose plant that did n’t like much water , or at least did n’t take much after established . This end up being our favorite garden . Alas , the street and main road noise ride us to move of late to a fresh home , but we have started with a blank ticket and are so unrestrained to translate this into a wonderful place too .
Yes , I pretermit my gardens there , but lead off new ones will be fun . In the meantime at our newfangled house with little landscape gardening this far , I endeavor to at least have mythologic planter for each season . Also this is our resident bear enjoying the hiss semen . "
